Thursday Women's Support Group

Led by Jordan at 5 PT / 8 ET

The YAWE Women's Group, led by Jordan, is a place for young women with epilepsy to come together, connect, and share their life experiences.

Just like our other YAWE groups, the format is open and friendly — but this group makes space for conversations about experiences that are unique to women such as hormones, motherhood, and stigma in the medical system. It’s a welcoming community where women can share, listen, and know they’re not alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to have my camera on?

While we would love to see your beautiful face, there is no pressure to have your camera on. We want this to be a safe space for you.

If I share, will it remain private?

Yes! If you decide to share with the group know that it will remain between us. We never record our group discussions and don't share your information.

Do I have to share?

No! While we would love to hear your story and experiences, you are not required to share during the call. Many participants will sit and listen in to the group discussion. Let your facilitator know you prefer to pass and you're all set!
